Hi I recently installed leo4all v2 on my packard bell iMedia 1307 eveything works out of the box except the sound, as far as iv been told the onboard sound card is a realtek alc655 i have tried a load of different kexts but have had no joy i am using not using the vanilla kernel the system is very stable and fast the only let down is that i have no audio, my system has the following:

Just a suggestion.....try here......it make work for you but also check other posts in thread..... :hysterical:

that driver should work for you, but you may need to find a way to get OSX to recognize that you want to load from it, instead of AppleHDA etc. i was just testing my ALC883 out, and no matter how many things i changed in AppleHDA.kext, the sound stayed with the same options. this was only fixed once i installed the ALCinject driver, and then overwrote the AppleHDA.kext with my own modified one. you may want to test out ALCinject first, and then try using HDAPatcher with a codec dump of your card. im almost 100% certain it should work then :P
