jam1212 Posted August 18, 2008 Share Posted August 18, 2008 I've been all over these forums, but can't seem to find a working solution to this. I have a Dell XPS 410, and I can't seem to get the audio working. The sound device is listed as SIGMATEL STAC 92XX C-Major HD Audio. I've tried several different codec dumps with the AppleHDAPatcher with versions 1.2 and 1.6. None of them get my sound working. During the patching process, it says that it recognizes an output, but when I restart and go to preferences -> sound, it says that it cannot find any output devices. Anyone know which dump I should use or maybe another solution? I'm using 10.5.1 btw. Thanks! edit: Ok, I used the Azalia installer, and now leopard recognizes my audio device.
