macprodan
Heres how my com.apple.boot.plist looks in case others may be interested.. <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1280x1024x32</string> <key>Kernel</key> <string>mach_kernel</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>platform=X86PC</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>-v</string> <key>Boot Graphics</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>10</string> all i added was platform = x86pc bit in recently, idlehalt=0 does not work for me. b4 when switching users nice transitions skipped , stutterd and happend in an instant... brownig files and the like paused the odd second now an then and the overall experience was not good. now it all seems ok. and is nice and fast. Anyone care to Xplain how OSX works when in X86PC mode compared to ACPI mode.
