arkthompson
Hello there! I`m a noob as well, got macos installed today! my onboard netword card doesn`t work so I put a Realtek 8139, for me works like a charm... But I came across some problems as well, once happened that the network card don`t get the ip address automatically (DHCP), I checked the network cable, the switch, inserted IP manually, no good. I then turn off the adsl modem, and then turned on, and restarted the macos, then the internet came back. What I can tell you is: Did your network card work properly on Windows? did you exchange the network cables? do you tried to turn everything off, then turn on again? Sorry for the really really bad english... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/121536-realtek-rtl8139/#findComment-859878 Share on other sites
