sagarp Posted August 17, 2008 Share Posted August 17, 2008 i'm using iAtkos2.0i on a dell vostro 1500. i can't seem to get my display working. i've searched for about 2-3 weeks now on these forums (and the internet at large), but all i've managed is booting with -x and getting low res. if i boot without that, i get a black screen. i can vnc into it and its full res. i tried the sleep trick, as well as the sleep startup app which someone posted, but i still get the scary white lines or nothing at all. i tried the graphics update, to no avail. i did manage to update to 10.5.3 but graphics still don't work. i tried kalyway as per someone's recommendation for the intel gm965 but no kalyway disks i tried even booted. they hang with a message about IOAPIC. i even grabbed the x3100 kexts from the kalyway disks and installed them in the iatkos install but still nothing. any advice?
