Amin E Posted August 16, 2008 Share Posted August 16, 2008 Hi there, I have tried VLC & DivX Player but still get white screen with sound on avi, flv and wmv ! is there problem with software or maybe with my graphical cart ? My Graphical cart is geforce 5200 Fx and after I install 'geforce 5200 installer .mpkg' now I can easily change resolution,... alicizmar Posted August 17, 2008 Share Posted August 17, 2008 Heh, at least yours plays. Mine gags upon opening a video. in A! Did you try changing the video output mode on it? Preferences > Video (make sure the "advanced" checkmark is checked). It should say "Default". Try changing it to OpenGL, and if it does the same thing, try other modes. Take note of what each mode causes the computer to do. If the screen is black instead of white, take note. If it crashes, take note. If VLC starts playing satanic music instead of your video, take note, reboot, and proceed to find some holy water to throw on your computer just to make sure (just don't dribble it anywhere where water can leak inside and break something).
