Jackal23 Posted August 16, 2008 Share Posted August 16, 2008 When following the quide at http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=76404 which says how to install retail OS X in terminal I get the error The Installer could not validate the contents of the ‘Essentials’ package. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance. Does anyone know how to fix it? PS: I think my disc is slightly scratchded. I have uploaded the entire log.
