flurffmeister
I have a Lenovo X60 tablet PC with a touchscreen... not really concerned with getting the tablet bits to work, I just want to be able to use the iPhone SDK really. Which needs 10.5.3 or later... So I got iATKOS and installed it... took me a few tries (had to use the X86 bootloader for MBR, and the ToH 9.2.0 kernel) but finally it passed the first boot, into a weirdly corrupted screen... I managed to fix it by the tablet's shortcuts for switching to external monitor and back (Fn+F7) and I got into an 800x600 restricted window (oddly enough the rest of the screen was still drawn, somehow) and completed the setup, and got into it and successfully got the resolution back up to 1024x768. Main issues: 1) It doesn't hook up to my bluetooth Mighty Mouse like Kalyway 10.5.2 used to (before I had to reinstall it after a failed update to 10.5.3) 2) USB drives and the like don't get hot-detected, I have to boot up to get it to detect a flash drive 3) I can't boot directly from the hard drive. I have to keep the iATKOS install DVD in the drive and let it skip past the "press any key to install..." prompt in order to proceed to boot from the hard drive. This means I can't put my 2nd hard drive in the dock to be able to get my backed-up data (downloads and such) off of it, because OS X doesn't like me hot-swapping things out of the dock's expansion bay. 1 and 2 are just slight annoyances, but 3 will be kind of hard to deal with... Any ideas? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/121247-iatkos-1054-on-lenovo-x60-tablet-pc-cant-boot-from-hd-need-dvd/ Share on other sites
