kalarm
Well I'm running mac OS X 5.1 right NOW. I have 2 problems. 1:If I dont put the DVD in the DVD drive when I boot, it gives a "b0 error" in the dos screen (this is the only thing written in the screen). How do I fix that? 2:I get a small error when I get on desktop with some missing file. It did not do anything yet so... it's not a big deal. My main concern is the b0 error, I'd like to be able to boot up without the DVD... the strange thing is it gives the error, but when the DVD is in I dont press ANYTHING when they ask if I want to boot with CD (AKA the countdown goes from 7 to 0, and THEN it boot corectly. Does it actually use a small part of the CD to boot? Also, there is a forum for that I know, but while were at it I may as well ask (it's only if you have the answer right under your hand), but I don't have any sound. I tought installing the sigmatec driver in the "customize" window would have done it, but it didnt. My sound card is integrated into my motherboard which is an intel D975XBX2KR: Intel 975X express chipset. thank you for your help ^^ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/121189-b0-error-on-booting/ Share on other sites
kalarm
Nobody knows? I my mac OS is installed on a completely different HDD then vista. Also, is there a software that could let me decide which HDD to start up with when i boot up? Instead of playing with the BIOS boot setup...
