I installed Zephyroth 10.5.2 Rev 2, and the installation process itself went great. Wonderful work! But I have a problem... I can't actually boot up. My BIOS gets to "Verifying DMI Pool Data," finishes that, and then does nothing. It just sits there. Should I let it sit for an hour or so and see what happens?

I'd really love it if someone had an answer for this one...

Thanks!

EDIT: Silly me... I didn't install a bootloader! I'll see if this works...

MORE EDIT: Alright so... I've tried both the MBR and the GUID bootloaders that come with the DVD... and I've even tried the dual-boot bootloader... to no success. Please, anyone!

ANOTHER EDIT: Er... I switched out my SATA drive for a PATA... once again the install went fine. Now I can boot up off of the drive if I initially boot from the DVD and just don't touch anything... it then goes into the registration process. Unfortunately, when I get to "Do You Already Own a Mac?" I click no and continue, after which it just freezes and eventually goes back to the beginning of the registration process. Fun! Any ideas?

EVEN MORE EDIT: Well... I can boot up into OS X using the DVD, and I've gotten past registration. I'd really like to be able to boot up without having to stick a DVD in though...

THE LAST EDIT: I got it working using OSX86 Tools and Chameleon. I highly recommend it to anyone having this problem.

I've had this problem as well. It turned out that I named the OSX harddisk "Mac OSX"... but having a SPACE in your drivename causes your osx drive being non-bootable. After reinstalling calling my drive just "Macintosh" solved this problem for me...
