hey all,

 

iam on vacation and got a lot of time for testing some installs of LeoOSX

 

...and iam finally got my (personally best) & easy install.

 

thanx @ all here on insaneylmac

 

 

so here we go

 

10.5.4 OSXx86 / EFI or Chameleon + Vanilla @ BadAxe 2 (BX2)

 

What you need!

 

- Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD

- 10.5.3 Combo Update Fixed v1.4b.mpkg (you´ll find it over the net)

- 10.5.4 Delta Update (you´ll find it over the net)

 

some kext´s for BX2

 

- AppleACPIPlatform.kext (for PS/2 Keyboard & USB Mouse)

- ApplePS2Controller.kext (for PS/2 Keyboard & USB Mouse)

- AppleHDA.kext (when you´ve patched it)

- IONetworkingFamily.kext from 10.4.9 (works best form me)

- AppleHDAPatcher_v1.16 + ( STAC9274D*.txt means DUMP file )

- maybe you wanna run Adobe CS3 or similar products (get mac.nubs SMBIOS.kext)

and install it after 10.5.4 upfgade success!!! Don´t know if it works before this steps!

 

+ OSx86 Tools for installing EFI or Chameleon BootLoader (need installed Leopard)

+ Kexthelper

 

How to install:

 

- install Kalyway 10.5.2 from DVD or another Leopard OS (see link for pic)

- !!! if you got no gfx-string you must select your gfx-card driver !!!

- boot to fresh installed Leopard

- install Taruga´s AppleHDA Patch

(and Backup patched AppleHDA from System/Library/Extensions

 

- install 10.5.3 Combo Update Fixed v1.4b.mpkg (see link for pic)

 

now reboot...

 

- install 10.5.4 Delta Update.mpkg (see link for pic)

- don´t reboot!!!

- Install all your kext +(( run Taruga´s Patch again (works best for me) ))

- check if all your kext are installed correctly!

- repair permissions (via diskapp)

 

pray, reboot and have fun with your 99% fully working Leopard!
