Hey guys, I'm looking to build a small form factor (SFF) Hackintosh system with my quad core QX6700 and an 8800GS (i don't need so much graphics power, but I'm not going to use onboard video)

Here's a bunch of Mini-ITX motherboards that have an LGA775 Socket and a PCIe x16 graphics card slot, and RAM is DDR2 of course:

Has anyone tried any of these boards with Leopard? If so i'd appreciate it if you'd post about your experience and what drivers I'll need.

If none of these boards are compatible with Leopard then I'll have to go with an mATX board.

This is the mATX board I was thinking about:

According to the 10.5.2 HCL, this board is fully compatible and only needs an audio driver to get it all working.

Any other suggestions for Mini-ITX or mATX boards would be greatly appreciated! :D

Thanks!

~Parker

Edit:

BTW, I would like to use Kalyway to install Leopard.

This is an older thread though, I was quite disappointed that there were no new mac mini's released at MacWorld this year. I decided to build a mac mini alternative. I was looking on forums for any info on mini-itx socket 775, quad-core and leopard compatible motherboards, though didn't find any info.

I ordered the Zotec NF630i-f-e motherboard, the q6600 quad-core 2.4ghz, the Apex MI-100 case, a dvd writere, a 1u cpu cooling fan and 4gb of ddr2-800. I have setup various hackintosh's in the past though will not have much guidance this time round. I'm going initially try the boot-132 method to get the retail dvd installed. Will post my results.
