Anyone else having this problem? The only apps that work for me are the ones that ideneb added. For all the rest, when I try to run apps I have one of three things happen: 1) the icon bounces and the program begins to launch and then disappears and I am told i have an unrecoverable error and am asked if I want to report it to Apple; or, 2) When I installed iWork it looked as tho all was cool, until I tried to run the apps--they appear to run but don't load completely; or 3) The icon bounces and the program begins and then I get a dark box that tells me I must reboot...

Any thoughts?

Make sure you have the proper video "drivers" for your system. That can cause problems with some installs. What are your system specs?

Thanks for the reply--I am getting ready to give up, maybe you can help.

I have an IBM Mobo in a G3 BW case. CPU= P4 2.27 Ghz (SSE, SSE2); Bus 533 mhz, 768 DDR, The graphics card is the onboard graphics (64mb shared; Intel ox8086). My system profile says "no Kext loaded."

Is this enough to go on?

Thanks!

Brad

Yip, but all is not lost!!

Find out what displaycard is onboard, then find the display kext that works with it and BOB's your uncle!! you won't be dissappointed!

Once you have that loaded everything will work like normal!

Thanks, I'll track that down. Is this something I can load through Pacifist?
