Frankenstan
I've installed Leo4All on my Asus c90s. (specs and details of installation here : http://leo4all.uni.cc/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=522) Toast : All versions I have insalled fail to start. The Icon bounces once then disappears. VLC : The application starts but as soon as I try to open a file it crashes. Any solutions welcomed, thanks. As a side note, in system profiler it says Quartz Extreme is not supported. Don't know if this a related problem but just in case. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/121049-vlc-and-toast-not-working/ Share on other sites

SticMAC™
@ Bigpoppa: Before you go throwing the poor guy in at the deep end by getting him to use EFI strings, maybe he should checkout a way to load normal kexts before he attempts it!? @Frankenstan Find the correct kexts for your display card, most of them have installers to run or will have a method of installing. _You can search google for let say you have a ASUS EN7300GS, then google: " EN7300GS insanelymac" this should show many posts in IM about that specific card and maybe you will find a method to install yours?
