Redliner Posted August 14, 2008 Share Posted August 14, 2008 -turning dock magnification off, switching to 2D dock vs. 3D -enable OpenGL (if your graphics card supports it...I have know clue what does or doesn't) -get more memory, seriously... that's the 2nd most important thing... most important being a newer Core2 Duo/Quad processor and mobo... cost as low as $250 for both -use AppFresh to make sure you have the latest versions of all your software -You might get adventurous and try testing different kernels... try to get on IRC and get the new SSE2 one from the Jas 10.5.4 release hope that helps Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/121018-speed-up-1054/#findComment-856389 Share on other sites More sharing options...
