Cant see any shared folders or computers

Alright the first time I installed Zephyroth's AMD Leopard disc I saw all the other computers on my network soon as it booted up the first time. I ended up breaking the install doing software updates so I started over and installed it again the same way, but this time I dont see any shares at all on the network or any other computers, I even have a real Macintosh on the network and it doesnt see it either, there is no network icon on the left side of the folder view and when I click Network from the drag down menu at the top it comes up blank. Internet works fine, IP address looks fine, I even set "WORKGROUP" in the WINS section of Networking and still nothing.

 

Any ideas?
