-=ATG=-
Hey everyone. I know people have posted about this FSB issue before but it seems none of the solutions worked for me. I've tried manually setting the FSB but for some reason the clockspeed remains the same. Perhaps the first question I should ask is whether or not the CPU speed is actually at 1.75ghz or is it running at 2.7 but only saying 1.75? If thats the case I think I can live with it, but I'd like to know anyway i guess. Release: Zephyroth 10.5.2 for AMD processors. I am running this release successfully on 2 other machines and they dont have the issue (both machines are overclocked as well). However I noticed the ram is read as DDR667 on the other two when in fact it is DDR400. This board reads DDR400. All boards are Socket 939. One is an eVga NF41 sli, the other an MSI Neo-4 and this one which I am writing about is a DFI LanParty UT-D. The specs for the machine are as follows: Opteron 165 @ 2.7 Ghz (Stock 1.8) 3 Gigs PC3200 Patriot Signature Series Ram Nvidia 8800GTS 640 DFI LanParty UT-D Overclock settings: FSB: 300 Multiplier: 9 Ram timings: Mem divider @ 133Mhz (Stock 200) 8-5-5-4-2.5 FSB * Mult = 2700Mhz I thought initially it may have been the overclock but to test it I set all the default bios settings and reinstalled OSx86. It may have been overkill by reinstalling but the results remained the same so I know the overclock is not the issue. Anyways, if anyone runs a similar machine and can help me out, please let me know! Thanks!
