dadopap
Hi, I recentrly bought a new computer, MOBO: ASROCK X38 twins + wifi module Video : ATI HD 4850 CPU: E8400 RAM: 4gb ddr2 1066MHz HD: SATA2 Maxtor 320GB and I would like to install macosX on my machine. I already tried with kalyway but the installation process doesn't start and it get stacked with Kernel panic at cd boot. Now I'm downloading Jas 10.5.4 and I hope that it will work (at least the installation) Another problem is that probably my video card is not supported. I'm very new in this "hackintosh" world so I may be looking in the wrong places, but I've understood that video is gonna work in a limited way and when my card will be supported I just need to add a kext file to the kernel (like linux modules).... AM I RIGHT? Anyway, if you'll just give me some hints to install leopard it would be very appreciated. Thanks!! sobik
Hi, is your DVD drive SATA? If yes, try boot from some IDE DVD drive... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/120830-helpleopard-on-a-very-new-hardware/#findComment-855193 Share on other sites
