on audio midi setup.

 

it says UNABLE TO LAUNCH MIDI SERVER.

 

and garage band says it detected a possible conflict between one or more third party midi or audio driver.

 

inside fold midi drivers in my library has nothing, i am imagine something was suppose to be there?

but i do have audio working on my computer. and i have a p5k-deluxe.

Had the same problem (Kalyway10.5.2). The fix that works for me is go to user/Library/Audio/MIDI Configurations before launching Audio MIDI Setup , and delete default.mcfg , then launch AMS

 

mine is simply give permission read-write to the folder ~/Library/Audio.

 

Works great with Garageband09 LOL
