Help with installation please

I'm trying to install Kalyway_10.5.2 but i get an error after booting from DVD drive

...

Still waiting for root device

 

And nothing happens after

cpu: AMD Athlon 64, 2200 MHz (11 x 200) 3500+

ram: 2048 MB (PC3200 DDR SDRAM)

video: GIGABYTE Radeon X1600 PRO (256 MB)

BIOS Type: Award (08/22/05)

Disk Drive: ST3160023A (160 GB, 7200 RPM, Ultra-ATA/100)

Optical Drive: TSSTcorp CD/DVDW SH-S162L (DVD+R9:8x, DVD-R9:6x, DVD+RW:16x/8x, DVD-RW:16x/6x, DVD-RAM:5x, DVD-ROM:16x, CD:48x/32x/48x DVD+RW/DVD-RW/DVD-RAM)

 

I'm read wiki and see that all my hardware are good for leopard but i can't solve this problem

Please help me!
