MGJulius
Are you trying to boot to the installer of after you installed it. If you've already installed it you didnt isntall the nForce chipset driver. MGJulius
What Distro are you trying to boot off of? I recommend Kalyway, Zephyroth, or Leo4allv3 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/120541-help-with-install/#findComment-853153 Share on other sites

MGJulius
Well not exactly, I've heard that some distros dont fully support nForce, but i thought JaS does. Anyway ive seen the best luck with nForce with Leo4allV3. Try typing "nforce" at the darwin prompt. Also what hdd/dvd drive are you using; IDE or SATA? MGJulius
Try plugging your dvd drive into the SATA 1 spot on your mobo and your hdd in SATA 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/120541-help-with-install/#findComment-853174 Share on other sites
