cenkiravul
I've managed to start the device with vanilla kernel but just output works. And in system profiler, there is no audio device shown. I guess noone has the AL662 codec. Woutje
I do have the ALC662-GR codec on my notebook.. But I cannot get audio out of it.. I've used the HDApatcher v1.20 and the generic AzaliaAudio kexts, but I get no sound at all.. To get full ALC662 sound, we need a Linux codec dump with amplifier settings.. whayes75
I have the al662 and it is working with a vanilla install using a patched apple hda. I also used efi studio to add efi strings and I don't need appleazailia. I do get sound output, but cannot control the volume via the system systems, but within itunes I can control the volume. Not sure about input or anything else. Here is the alc662.txt file I used with HDApatcher (just take the lines between the begin here and end here lines) --------Begin here---------- Codec: Realtek ALC662 rev1 Address: 0 Vendor Id:
