NaMcO Posted August 8, 2008 Share Posted August 8, 2008 Hello, I recently built my MAC machine (E6600, DS3L, HD2900XT and 2GB), installed Kalyway 10.5.2, installed all the updates related to 10.5.3 and then updated to 10.5.4. So far so good, everything's working. After performing all the updates i then installed the Audio drivers (went 100% ok), HD2900XT drivers, booted and everything was apparently fine. I can even run benchmark apps that tell me quartz is working and OpenGL too, but system information states something about Quartz being disabled and besides that i cannot change font antialiasing, for example. Am i missing something, are there some extra settings that have to be configured, an application that scans the system and really tells me what's happening (good or bad), anything? Aperture won't run, complaining card is below required specs... this is odd, as it's a HD2900XT i must be missing something here...
