AETAaAS
Hi all, I recently got the Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD for Intel/AMD and have problems installing. I followed the instructions and have already made a FAT32 partition, but when I put in the DVD, it stalls early on. The specs on the Asus G1S are Intel T7500, 4GB RAM, 160GB HDD, nVidia 8600GT, AC97 audio. Heres where it stalls... I tried using some different commands which are in the help page, but they dont seem to work. Please help! johnfilo
I've got the same problem, it keeps freezing there, help. I had the same problem. I found this great blog here http://kalyway-10-5-1-asusg1s.wikidot.com/ The problem is the bios and the kalyway kernel freaking out with 2 cores in the cpu. I tried the cpus=1 and that didn't fix my issue. I upgraded my bios to rev 300 and this fixed my panic issue: Download modified BIOS [http://rapidshare.com/files/96377466/G1Sas.300_mod.zip.html] You can also find it from discussion board: [http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=90505&st=40&start=40] I used CD-method for BIOS updating, you can find guide from: [http://asusg1s.wikidot.com/upgrading-bios] Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/119903-kalyway-on-asus-g1s/#findComment-865749 Share on other sites
