Hill Beast
I had that problem too on my Dell. As soon as you unplug it it has a kernel panic right? I tried all sorts to fix it and gave up on it. After reinstalling Mac OS one day it started working o.O. Don't know what I did but you're not the only one with that problem Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/119766-tiger-wont-boot-if-laptop-is-not-on-ac-power/#findComment-884026 Share on other sites
audioboi
Well, in my case, if I don't plug it, the system wont boot... (no kenel panics though).. Anyway, I already found a solution.. in my case, I had to turn off Intel SpeedStep from BIOS in order to boot even if im not on AC power.
