Hello there! New to the forum and actually my first post :)

I'm just curious about Max OSX Operating System because as I have seen the video from the main website, especially the latest version, the Leopard which is 10.5 is cool! :D

So I'm wondering if my PC Specs is compatible with the OS I want to use?

P4 Celeron 331 Prescott 2.66Ghz

1.256Mb DDR1 memory

7300GT Super 512MB agp vc

P5PE-VM Mobo

2 hdd, one is about 18gb and the other one is 29gb..

I want to dual boot, other is XP and other is Leopard.

If I violate some of the rules or something like that, just inform me. And a little help needed here. Thanks in advance guys. Help really appreciated :P

and here's a copy of my system in cpu-z

I have that motherboard working (p5pe-vm) in 2 leopard installs currently. The video card should be supported as well.

you will need skge.kext (for lan, and ac97 for audio). I have found for this motherboard leo4all works the best.

Feel free to PM me if you have specific questions or issues.

Rayster: I cannot. I am sys admin so I pulled down the image from tpb and got to work playing with it. If you pull down a copy of leo4all, run through the installer picking the proper drivers (skge and nvinject and ac97 and ich5/6/7/8/9) you should be able to get it up rather easily. As far as getting your dual booting to work correctly with windows XP, i have not done that as I am not a fan of MS. I have setup dual booting with GRUB and linux, but that was painlessly done via Ubuntu installer after install Leopard.

Pull your windows HD, and run through the installer a few times to the spare HD to get the hang of it and learn the options you need for your hardware. Once youve dont that youll be most of the way there. Just need to find a thread on dual booting with XP.

Sorry guys but I'm a bit noob when it comes to this things especially on a new OS.

Right now I'm downloading ToH x86 9A581 RC2 via torrent, I would like to know if its ok with my system?

And what version really works with me? Is it ok to continue my download?
