Smoot
Greetings. I have come to this forum to seek assistance installing OS X on my AMD system. I am having only one problem: Installation software will NOT detect my 200 GB Maxtor SATA drive. It's really annoying. It is NOT showing up ANYWHERE in the software including the Disk Utility. it's not that it is not formatted, it simply does not show up. At this point I have tried switching slots and changing bios settings. No luck. It's pretty odd it can detect my USB external but not my SATA. Specs: M3A32-MVP Deluxe Motherboard AMD Phenom 9600 Quad Core Maxtor 200 GB SATA Chipset: 790FX Is there ANYTHING I can do to get this working? I really can't wait to get OS X in Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/119626-sata-not-detected-amd-setup/ Share on other sites
