Hello guys,

I've finally completed installing iATKOS v4i for my pc.

After install i had no network, not that i was suprised by that.

I found out that the ASUS WL-130N is using Ralink rt2860 drivers. So i visited

seems like the rt2860 drivers are just for ppc. :/

Ralink's tawain site (wich the newest drivers where) i tried to install the driver but no luck.

It wont find the card, the ralink utility keeps complaining about "No Device!!!". tried to boot with -f

flag and such too. Then I'm trying to install the driver for the Marvel Yukon 88E8056 instead, because i saw some people having success with that chip. Tried editing the /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleYukon2.kext/Contents/Info.plist

And change the 8053 to 8056 and 4362 to 4364, then reboot. still no ethernet.

My spec's are:

Intel Quad Core Q6600 CPU (standard clock speed)

Asus Maximus Extreme (With 2 integrated gbit wich runs on a Marvell Yukon 88E8056 chip, HD Audio, ICH9R)

Nvidia Geforce 9800GX2 Video card.

1TB WDC S-ATA HDD.

USB SAMSUNG DVD Drive.

Any help would be appreciated.

I remember fixing this for someone else, you just need to create a personality for the device, take the 88e8052, duplicate it, change the device ID, rename it 88e8056 and change the parameters to match your device, it's either AppleYukon.kext or AppleYukon2.kext that you have to modify.

Make a personality, don't just change the ID's of an existing one cause some of the included data also needs to be changed and it's better to expand supported devices rather than replace.
