deanr Posted March 14, 2006 Share Posted March 14, 2006 Hi Installed 10.4.4/5 on my Acer Travelmate 4064 and it is having hard drive access issues or possibly ram issues, it takes 10 minutes to boot, launching apps is so slow you forget that you clicked on them by the time they pop up, but once opened safari works great with no lag, bunch of tabs open and it switches between them instantly, the processor in this machine is a Centrino 1.7 and the motherboard is 915gm, all graphics are snappy but its painfull to use when it can be so slow to respond. Booting with platform=x86pc didnt help, and theres no options in the bios for acpi or really any options in the bios its pretty limited Does anyone have any suggestions?
