battery Posted August 5, 2008 Share Posted August 5, 2008 so i just installed 10.4.8 on an extra hard drive i had lying around - it took a few tries, switched to fail safe defaults in cmos and ran the installer in safe mode and it finally worked. i had my modem shut off so it couldn't register, and i'm just wondering if its safe to go online. Will i get nailed by the allmighty Apple banhammer? am i vulnerable to electrodeath from the interweb?
