oaktab
Hello, I'm a new OSX86 user. I'm trying to install OSX on my PC but I just can't make it work after reboot from the installation. It says I have to hold down the power key or reboot my computer. My spec is CPU Type ----DualCore Intel Core 2 Duo E6750, 2666 MHz (8 x 333) Motherboard---Asus P5K SE (2 PCI, 3 PCI-E x1, 1 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR2 DIMM, Audio, Gigabit LAN) Motherboard Chipset ----Intel Bearlake P35 System Memory ----2048 MB (DDR2-667 DDR2 SDRAM) Video Adapter ----ASUS X1600 Series Secondary (512 MB) Audio Adapter ----Realtek ALC883 @ Intel 82801IB ICH9 - High Definition Audio Controller IDE Controller ----Intel® ICH9 2 port Serial ATA Storage Controller 1 - 2921 Network Adapter ----Attansic L1 Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-T Controller For my first try I used iATKOS 4.0i but it said "memory allocation error" and I don't know what to do to solve the problem so I change to kalyway leopard 10 5 1. This time I can get to the installation part but when the file copying part was done and I have to reboot my computer it just showed the screen that tells me to hold down the power key or press the restart button. I think I did something wrong in the customize part where I was supposed to check things in the box list. I have 3 partitions -- one for XP, one my data, and one for OSX. I really like to do a dual boot. Anyone who knows how to do the installation PLEASE tell me in detail. oaktab Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/119465-asus-p5k-se-kalyway-1051/ Share on other sites
