I installed the update according to the guide in post 13 in this thread: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=113299

I rebooted (everything moved very very slowly. No errors or anything, just really slow), replaced my kernel, applesmbios.kext (via kexthelper), and re-installed NVKush to fix my video (8600gt). After rebooting again everything was still very slow, but now it got stuck on the line:

ntpd[48]: sendto(17.151.16.21) (fd=26): No route to host

That line repeats every minute and never stops. Any ideas how to fix it? I have a core2duo system, so idk what the problem may be...

I can boot normally now (went into safe-mode and installed the update again via pacifist) but now my dock is completely messed up. I keep it on the side, and all i see are the icons and the gray background. There are no little glowing dots and no border. If i move the dock to the bottom i can see the relections, but i have no background and no running app indicator dots. any ideas?

I also have no backgrounds on any of my Grid stacks.
