NasT
Hi all, I succesfully installed Leo4all v3 on my T60 8744HDG (Intel Core 2 Duo T7200, 2GB ram, Ati x1400, WSXGA+ TFT 15,4") when the HDD was in the HDDbay, but I do need other OS'es, like Vista with Vmware and since I couldn't run my Leo4all in native resolution (1680x1050), I decided to buy an ultrabay Sata HD adapter. Ultrabay Sata HD adapter That way I didn't have to open my laptop each time to swap HD's and boot Leo easily. But now Leo won"t boot anymore. I did a new install while to HDD was in the ultrabay and that worked without any problems, but while rebooting I choose the boot device and then I get the errors: IOPCCardBridge start failed Waiting for root device Waiting for root device And i can wait, it just get stuck there, each time saying 'waiting for root device'. Who can help me out, it's clear Leo doesn't boot properly from the ultrabay and maybe is attempting to boot from the internal HDD, even though I installed while being in the Ultrabay. Kind regards, Tamara Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/119255-lenovo-t60w-booting-from-ultrabay-not-working/ Share on other sites
NasT
Hi, no answer to this? I tried to take it a step further, hoping to boot using Ubuntu and grub. Installed Vista on hd(0,0) Ubuntu on hd(1,0) Leopard hd (1,1) Ubuntu and Vista are booting fine, but still no luck with Leopard. I edited my grub using the efi_v80 boot solution (downloading and putting the files in the Ubuntu /boot), but I still get the same error IOPCCardBridge start failed Waiting for root device Waiting for root device Leopard DOES work is I install it on the first internal HD, so it should work :s Who can help me out?
