A few months ago I bought two 500gb Seagate 7200.11 hard drives for a windows RAID0 and they are blazing fast. Now I find my self using Leopard more then windows, which is installed on a slower 250gb drive I have. I would be glad if I could get Leopard installed on that RAID, and even happier if I could get it installed along side windows.

I've read that OS X only supports hardware RAID, but is there a driver I can get to make it compatible with my RAID, then just copy the install over from a single drive to the RAID drives?

I have 3 controllers to work with; the Intel ICH9R SATA controller on my board, a Gigabyte SATA controller, and this Rosewill RAID controller with I think a Jmicron chip. Disk Utility is seeing both hard drives in my current Intel RAID0, and even sees both NTFS partitions on it.

So is there any chance of me getting OS X on a RAID0, other then creating one through OS X?
