ben_b
Hi, lately, the key combinations 'alt + number' ('alt + 1', 'alt + 2', ...) won't work any more. The only give me the 'klonk'-error-sound. So no putting in any special characters any more... That is, those combinations don't work in most applications. In MacVim, everything is allright. But everything else, Terminal, Mail, TextEdit, ... no alt + number. This is especially annoying since I'm used to a german keyboard layout where you got braces, brackets and the pipe as 'alt + number'-combinations. Every other 'alt + key' combination works fine, even 'alt + shift + number'. Since 'alt + number' works in MacVim, I know that there's nothing wrong with the hardware, so it has to be some internal wiring in Leopard I guess. Any hint on that? ben Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/119082-alt-number-malfunctioning/ Share on other sites
