20legend
Hello. First time trying to build a mac, and yes, i tried all the newbie guides, osx86wiki and everything. Someone has even claimed that the same mobo was fully compatible. Here are the details 1) Images : Leo4all v3 and Zephyr 10.5.2. AMD EFI v8 2) Moard/Processor Combo : Gigabyte MA-69VM-S2 + Athlon 64 X2 4400+ 3) Memory : 2GB DDR 2 4) HDD and Optical Drives : Seagate SATA 2 (250 Gigs) MoserBaer DVD Writer (ATA) as Primary Master 5) Graphics : ATI X1600 I have tried some of the bios changes described here (Sata Mode changing etc...) Both images wont boot as it says "Still waiting for root ..." multiple times. What could i be doing wrong? If someone could help me , i could volunteer for a board specific guide from a complete new user's prespective. 20legend
Update 6 I just found out that you can use Transmac on Windows to add kexts to the Image. Can someone please confirm if this is valid and wont break anything. 20legend
Update 7 I used PPF-o-matic and patched the leov3 iso and booted with it. This time i get a yellow error code saying org.tgwbd.driver.ACPIPS2Nub Since i am YET to get a working installation, I would have only Linux of Vista to work with. Is there a way yo add this APPLEACPI kext to a Leo Iso.
