vnwwd
I have the Inspiron 1501 and after some work I managed to get Leopard installed with the Kalyway disc. In addition to the regular issues (choppy sound, no QE, etc) the big problem I have is the native booting. When booting with no parameters the loading hangs, but if i type rd=disk0s1 -F I get the beloved grey Apple screen which loads for a little, but then the swirly thing stops spinning and I have to use my mouse to bring it back up. Anyone have experience with this? Should I try a different install disc?
