Hi guys, I've dabbled with OSX on my PC for a while now, and really like it. However, I still require Windows XP for my games, and Linux for experimental work.

Currently my PC is only running XP.

I have a copy of Partition Magic to create/modify partitions before I reinstall OSX.

I have a Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD (Patched to work with my jMicron IDE DVD drive. I know that this DVD installs flawlessly).

I wish for my setup to be as follows:

- Windows XP (Current install)

- Mac OS X 10.5.2 (Fresh install)

- Linux Mint (Ubuntu) (Fresh install)

How would I go about doing this? I must stress that I do not wish to lose the data already on my Windows XP install. What order should I install the OSes in, and what boot loader do I need to be looking at using?

Finally, I believe I'm right in saying that Mac OS X cannot read other partitions (Windows or Linux). Can it read from a plain FAT32 partition that does not have an OS installed on it?

Basically I want all three OSs to be able to access file space so that media and documents can be shared easily between them. I mean, that's the whole point of multi-booting, to get the best out of all your operating systems right!

I only have one hard drive.

I would be highly greatful for any advice I receive!

Edit: This is what I have so far. (Partition-wise)

I plan to use this tutorial:

Ok thanks, so I'm guessing that the Local Disc (G:) partition in the picture would be suitable.

By the way, if anyone's wondering, the Mac OS X partition is currently Fat32 just as a placeholder until I boot the DVD and format it to the OS X type.
