icosh
Sorry if this been cover by other threads but I have tried most of the suggestions relating to the wifi cad and getting it to work Laptop spec: Toshiba Satellite A300/600 PSAG4A – 02600M Intel Dual Core T9300 4Gb Ram Integrated Intel 802.11 (a/g/n) wifi I have install Kalyway version 10.5.2 then patched with 10.5.3 upfcomb, then installed iwi4965 driver Issues that I am having (Sorry big list ) I followed the instructions and copied the networkselector and then installed the package which seem to install ok as I did not get any errors and then rebooted. I then ran the networkselector which showed the text menu with 4 options: 1) Turn card off/on 2) Start scan 5) Close program 0) Refresh Tried turning the card on and off, which made no difference. Then tried to scan for access points but no list. Ok so after trying to find out what the problem was I then executed nsGUI which started and a short will the laptop crashed with the message "You needed to restart ….etc" Tried to find the problem but no joy , then tried the original networkselector which shows more Adopter (dd:b6:01:00:a8:71) [mode: 0 led: on] '<hidden> (00:00:00:00:00:00) ch: 0' [0.0.0.0] 1) Turn card on 2) Network List 3) Switch led 4) change mode 5) Close Program 0) Refresh When I press any of the options 1 – 4 I get " You… etc" and no output to the screen i.e. network list. Well I am hoping someone may have some ideas how I can fix this , Other problem all relating to drivers: Removable usb drive only seen if you start the laptop with the drive inserted, if removed or inserted after the system has started then no joy Built-in camera does not work. Keep getting Disk insertion message when the laptop is rebooted but no disk in dvd drive.
