legatoexpressivo Posted July 31, 2008 Share Posted July 31, 2008 Okay so I just finished installing Kalyway 10.5.2 on my Toshiba Satellite L305-S5865 Laptop and the speed is tremendously slow. As well as the usb ports, ethernet port, and the sound not working. I'm quite a noob at this. Please help!! Kajeck Posted August 1, 2008 Share Posted August 1, 2008 I just installed 10.5.2 as well and have those EXACT problems. I managed to fix the Ethernet issue by downloading a ViaRhine.kext (obviously it'll be specific to your card model) and unfortunately, I need to run it in Terminal upon each re-boot, but it does work. I still haven't fixed the sound USB or speed issues though, as well as the fact that I can't up my monitors resolution for some reason :S Help anybody?
