TabletMagic on a ST5112

After some struggle I got the ST5112 serial port to show up in TabletMagic but things are still not good. I have attached a bit of a console (Console.txt) log and see a number of issues being presented. Are these issues "normal" or do I need to address them and if so any help would be appreciated. I also attached the result of when I turn the Daemon on (Console2.txt). It say's tablet initialized in console but Tablet Magic says no tablet found.

 

Please help a young naive boy's dream come true!

Edit- So no sooner do I post then bam it starts working, trying to get pen and cursor to line up. I think if I post again it will just start working!

Hi, you have to do:

To enable the serial port on the st5112 or st5020 series Tablets do the following modification to the Apple16X50ACPI.kext:

Edit info.plist:

/system/library/extensions/Apple16X50Serial.kext/Contents/PlugIns/Apple16X50ACPI.kext/Contents/Info.plist

change IONameMatch string:

PNP0501 to FUJ02E5

Clear kext caches by removing the following files:

/system/library/Extensions.kextcache

/system/library/Extensions.mkext

reboot

you have to repair permissions and reboot again. this work in tiger.

in leo, move the kext to desktop, edit, reboot, than move it back to plugins, erase kextcache, reboot, repair permissions, reboot and your serial in tabletmagic should be working. I had it on st5112 6 months ago, but due to long boot time and no wifi support I resigned for now. fyi I have working leo on st5020, but do not use it as sleepmode does not work. How is your boot and sleepmode working? What distro di you use? plse send me message to: kkm ad zoznam.sk.
