egr
Wondering if anyone has or knows if it is possible to install OSX 10.5.4 on a VMware ESX server? I have tried a number of virtual drives connected to the virtual console and loading the ISO directly in the VM configuration and can only get as far as a kernel panic when it fails at "waiting for root device". I am trying using iATKOS v4i. Is this at all possible? What are some other things I can try to get a successful boot at least? yozh
This is interesting, any one got any version of leopard (10.5-10.5.4) running on ESX 3.5 ? I guess the SCSI hard drives are the biggest issue ? EDIT1: this is the error i got: nfs_boot_init failed with 6\n"@/volumes/disk1s2/leo_xnu/xnu-1228/bsd/nfs/nfs_vfsops.c:851 .. EDIT2: Always choose virtual scsii hard disc, and bus logic scsii controler. Tryed this virtual operative system (linux, solaris, other and xp) I only have one disk, what is disk1s2 ?!? Rakso
I tried to use the ideneb v1.3 10.5.5, at bootup used "-v" command. Get stuck at the iDeneb background and spinning rainbow mouse prior to the 1st setup steps.
