rohde
Does it even begin to boot from the DVD? Do you see a line looking somewhat like: "| Loading Darwin x86..." If not can you even boot from DVD drive, generally speaking that is? xhunter
I've tryed to boot with the original 10.4.4 "not patched" dvd and the "loading darwin/x86" appers...after few seconds i can see a background with the apple but an errore says that i have to shutdown the computer...maybe because it's not patched? I think so. But if i patch the iso with: noxd --> loading darwin appear with the same error i had before and ss2 --> loading darwin appear with the same error but if i patch with "base" loading darwin doesn't appear and the computer reboots.... Any suggestion? Ps: can i install this os with a pentium m dothan?? rohde
Ps: can i install this os with a pentium m dothan?? Uhmm....I'm actually not sure. Wasn't there some problem with a defect PAE in Pentium M??!?! Try reading this thread for info: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?sh...&hl=PAE+Pentium Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11832-installation-doesnt-start/#findComment-74203 Share on other sites
xhunter
thx...i've read it.... they say that 10.4.4 works with a no PAE processor....but i don't know how.... Someone with PAE had this problem too...so i think that maybe PAE is not the real problem.. Any Suggestion?
