Northy Posted July 29, 2008 Share Posted July 29, 2008 Hey guys, Stupid question but how do I change Leopard (Client) to Leopard Sever as I want to use my MacBook as a temp server for testing out some Web Carts (Online stores) that I'm planning on using and I don't want to pay for hosting. So can it be done if so how, Any help is appreciated:D. Dr. Watz0n Posted July 31, 2008 Share Posted July 31, 2008 Do you just want to test and debug the web apps on the system, or do you want to dedicate the entire system to become a server? If you want to do the latter, just purchase a copy of Leopard Server and install it. It won't overwrite your current Leopard install, just add the necessary features. If you want to run and debug them on the same system, use XAMPP for Mac OS X. Includes Apache, MySQL, PHP, other things as well. Hope it helps .
