ergosteur
I've just installed iATKOS 4i and noticed that as usual, many extras are missing, such as printer drivers and dictionaries. I used pacifist to install the missing files from a 10.5.0 retail DVD, namely the .SpeechVoice folders. Now, when I go to system preferences/Speech and try to change the voice to anything but Alex, the system preferences app freezes and crashes. when I try to open it again to change the voice back to Alex, it crashes again. the only workaround i've found is to go into /System/Library/Speech and delete all voices except Alex. What is weird is that despite the system prefs crashing, the other voices work (they announced the time and work with the Yoda widget). does anyone else have this problem or a solution?
