EdmondChang
Hi guys, actually I'm a newbie here and trying to install Leopard on my PC for the first time. My destination is to dual boot(maybe triple with Linux in the future) with XP on one single drive My partition condition: One single drive Partition 1: WinXP C:\ NTFS Primary Partition 2: D:\ NTFS Logical Partition 3: E:\ NTFS Logical Partition 4: F:\ NTFS Logical Partition 5: H:\ HFS Primary, Active What I have done: 1. I've used diskpart on XP to creat a partition with id=af and made it active 2. Boot my machine with the Zephyroth Leopard 10.5.2 Rev.2 DVD 3. Use Disk Utility to Erase the partition created by diskpart on XP and install Leopard on that partition (particularly H:\ in my case) Zephyroth's 10.5.2 Rev.2 has dual boot built in so I selected dual boot(Windows bootloader) in Customize option menu. The installation went very well but after installation I clicked restart, the machine started with "Error loading system" and hang there. What should I do next? regards My specs: AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Venice (single core) Biostar TForce 550SE with nForce 550 chipset Kingston DDR 512*2 Seagate SATA 80G GeForce 7300GT 256MB Pioneer DVD burner Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/118145-cant-bootdual-boot-with-xpzephyroth-1052-rev2/ Share on other sites
