thinkrj
Everybody knows we live in a world where we need to disable AppleIntelCpu... becaude of the dreaded "Package 0 didn't get an HPET" which eventually brings our kernels to panic. Reading somewhere else (regarding the foxconn linux acpi controversy), it dawned on me that our situation might lie in the fact that the ACPI subsystem does not know what our OS is, and therefore does not make the HPET and other ACPI parts available to it, marking them as invisible. What do you think? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/118083-hpet-and-acpi/ Share on other sites
