Hi, I'm really in need of help with my kalyway 10.5.2 installation. Everything worked fine

until I decided to install Zehyroths 10.5.2. to get the audio working--which it did--but everthing else worked poorly.

Now a problem with my dual boot (XP) started occuring after utilizing the dual boot feature in Zephyroth's version (XP refused to boot). I went back to Kalyway 10.5.2.

I now am getting "Error Loading booterx" before Darwin starts. It just hangs there.

This never happened with Kalyway version. Even after erasing the partition in the disk utility, and installing fresh, I get the same error.

I have tried everthing I know to try, and I have never seen this message in any threads.

I've tried fdisk to flag the partition active--doesn't make any difference. Somehow

the missing booterx is keeping Darwin from running. Norton Disk Doctor tells me that there is a partition table problem and tries to fix it, but same problem keeps occuring. Somehow my partition table must be messed up and I don't know how to fix it. I can boot into XP ok after reinstalling it--just not OSX.

I can use the dvd to boot into the OSX patition and everything is fine. But with out DVD

I get the same message.

Thanks in advance,

rhel
