ok, so I have an asus Crosshair motherboard, which has an nforce 590 sli AMD chipset (MPC55) and I am trying to get the internet working... I have been using/trying the forcedeth_nockd.kext from here http://www.badongo.com/file/9718559

and heres the thing, mac see's my network card interfaces (both) but it refuses to get an ip address or anything... won't say connected... diagnostics say failed...

so I have uninstalled and re-installed and booted and rebooted deleted cache's and booted with -s done /sbin/ mount -uw/ cd /system/library/extensions/ rm -f force* (only to get an error message "forcedeath_nockd.kext is a directory") reinstalled normal, and nothing seems to work...

so... any help? btw I did search and I could not find anything on my chipset/ethernet
