morpheousx
I have a creative sound card on 1 of my pc's(P 4 2ghz) with osx86 10.4.5 myza patch and it worked fine in that pc but the pc that it works in is where i have my winxp hdd installed,i just took out the hdd and put it in my other pc CPU Type: Intel® Celeron® CPU Number Of CPUs: 1 CPU Speed: 2.19 GHz L2 Cache (per CPU): 128 KB CPU Features: FPU VME DE PSE TSC MSR PAE MCE CX8 APIC SEP MTRR PGE MCA CMOV PAT PSE36 CLFSH DS ACPI MMX FXSR SSE SSE2 SS HTT TM EST i wanted to test to see if there are any hardware issues and there was'nt,sound was working and graphics card but when i tried it on my Intel® Celeron and go into "system preferences" and click on the sound icon, the osx locks, nothing else will respond or launch. i tried to watch a trailer o a move and soon as the sound came up,blam! locked up ,so anyone of you gentlemen know what might be causing this issue? I tried swapping pci slots also and no go.so you now see that my creative pci card "does work" within osx86 10.4.5 myza build but just not on my Intel® Celeroncan so i guess if i can't fix this issue,i'll just have to swap hdd back to each pc and use the sound card with my P 4 2ghz and kiss my P 4 windoze goodbye thanks in advance for any replies my friends Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11804-sound-is-present-but-doesnt-work/ Share on other sites
